The Role:
The Lead, Real-World Data Strategy and Innovation plays a pivotal role in shaping real-world data (RWD) opportunities. You will translate client requirements into actionable RWD strategies that ensure deal quality, expedited processes, and ongoing client satisfaction. This position rests at the confluence of commercial strategy, data analysis, and impactful storytelling, focusing on delivering differentiated, credible offerings that align with project execution.

As a vital contributor to the RWD Strategy and Innovation team, you will maximize the impact of RWD opportunities by combining strategic insight with a deep understanding of data fluency. Your work will foster client trust and directly drive growth in bookings and account sustainability.
Core Responsibilities:
Oversee the complete scoping process for RWD opportunities, from initial client discussions to the alignment of proposals
Collaborate with the Commercial team to craft deal strategies and pricing structures that facilitate growth
Guide feasibility assessments across various RWD assets, including claims, electronic medical records, lab data, and unstructured clinical information
Analyze data coverage and limitations to define realistic project parameters
Transform client inquiries into clear use cases and narratives that resonate across various stakeholders
Act as a thought partner to refine objectives, enhance relevance, and craft tailored solutions for clients
Establish and communicate assumptions and scope definitions to mitigate delivery risks
Utilize SQL skills to explore data and validate project feasibility
Provide analytical direction to internal teams to ensure deliverables align with the intended narrative
Create scalable frameworks and templates for efficient project scoping across deals
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among Strategy, Delivery, Analytics, Product, and Data Science
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in life sciences consulting, research, or analytics
Familiarity with real-world data types, including claims, EMR structured data, and lab results
Proficient in SQL for data exploration and validation
Experience with pre-sales engagements in RWD, health economics, or analytics
Ability to evaluate data strengths and limitations, translating them into practical scope decisions
Strong analytical and communication abilities
Comfortable operating in uncertain environments and clarifying objectives
Experience in cross-functional collaboration without managing project execution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-ready materials

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000. Salary offers depend on a variety of factors like skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Besides a competitive benefits package, successful candidates may also receive a discretionary bonus.
