The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled Senior Analyst for our Central Office for Analytics and Reporting (COAR). This hybrid position, based in either our Detroit, MI or Charlotte, NC office, requires a flexible schedule with in-office attendance a few days per week. You will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing reporting solutions for our program teams and risk management across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Power BI and Snowflake, along with a talent for translating complex data into actionable insights. The Work Itself Create and maintain robust reporting solutions using Power BI that support program teams and Risk Management initiatives. Engage with stakeholders to identify reporting requirements and transform them into effective visual data representations. Leverage Snowflake for efficient data warehousing and management, ensuring high standards of data accuracy and accessibility. Enhance existing reports and dashboards to optimize user experience and performance. Establish data governance and quality assurance measures to guarantee dependable reporting. Offer technical support and insights on Power BI and Snowflake capabilities. Utilize Excel for reporting tasks, employing VBA for greater automation and efficiency. The Skills You Bring At least 3 years of experience in developing data visualizations with a focus on reports, dashboards, and other visual data solutions. Preferred 3+ years of experience specifically as a Power BI developer. A Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline. Expertise in Snowflake for effective data warehousing and management. Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize them for improved performance. Demonstrated analytical capability to interpret complex data structures and derive actionable insights. Proficiency in data modeling with a solid grasp of data structures to design efficient models. Competence in Excel, including experience with VBA programming. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
