Happy Hall School is seeking a Full‑Time Preschool Teacher.

JOB OVERVIEW The Assistant Teacher at Happy Hall Schools is a key support role in our educational programs, assisting the Lead Teacher in providing nurturing care and enriching learning experiences to children. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to supporting children’s learning and development, demonstrate patience and respect towards children and their families, and maintain a professional, supportive environment conducive to learning and exploration.

RESPONSIBILITIES Child Supervision

Assist the Lead Teacher in providing direct supervision to children, ensuring their safety and well‑being at all times.

Contribute to a nurturing, stimulating environment that encourages children’s social, emotional, and intellectual development.

Support in Activity Planning and Implementation

Assist in planning and implementing age‑appropriate learning and play activities, as directed by the Lead Teacher.

Engage with children during planned activities to stimulate their curiosity, creativity, and foster a love of learning.

Educational Support

Assist in delivering the curriculum set by the Lead Teacher, and support the children as they progress.

Provide help to children during activities, ensuring they are engaged and understanding the material.

Classroom Maintenance

Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe learning environment at all times.

Help manage classroom resources and supplies, ensuring they are effectively utilized and replenished as necessary.

Family & Community Engagement

Demonstrate patience, respect, and commitment to families, supporting the Lead Teacher in responding to their concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain professional and appropriate relationships with parents, teachers, and other staff.

Participate in parent‑teacher meetings and community events as required.

Please note that this list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, but highlights the key tasks associated with this role. Additional duties may be required in line with the needs of the business and as directed by the Lead Teacher and management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or a high school graduate.

Must have 6 ECE units and be enrolled/taking 6 additional units for a total of 12 units.

Experience and interest in working with children.

Being reliable and consistently punctual is a necessity.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Fingerprint Background Clearance.

Health Screening.

Proof of Immunizations and TB Test.
