Overview
Lockwood Construction is seeking a full-time Superintendent with a background and/or experience in commercial construction. Candidates for this role must exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for quality work. As a superintendent, you will work directly with the Project Manager on budgets, planning, and project goals to ensure a smooth and successful completion. You will collaborate with fellow superintendents on a frequent basis, as well as the President of Lockwood Construction and other departments, such as: administration, accounting, HR, and marketing. Oversee day-to-day operations, including field supervision, quality control, site cleanliness & people on site Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of job site safety, protocols, codes, permits, and regulations Manage multiple construction projects at one time Foster positive relationships with subcontractors, architects, engineers, owners & other team members Prepare, schedule, and manage completion of final punch list items Responsible for maintaining daily work logs and job site activities Execute schedules and goals set by supervisors and owners to meet deadlines Additional Skill Sets
Open and transparent communication with the Lockwood Construction team Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines Understanding of computer literacy and programs, such as: Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with Procore or another relevant platform is a plus, but not required Maintain honesty and ethics by carrying out the mission of Lockwood Construction Organized individual that can adhere to a clean job site and workspace Education & Experience
High school diploma required 5 years+ of experience in a supervisor role within the construction sector Equivalent education & experience will be considered Travel to job site is required. Therefore, a valid driver’s license is required.
