
Graduate Designer - Architecture

The Graduate Designer position assists the project design team in efforts related to concept design, schematics, and documentation of various architectural projects.
Essential Job Functions
Work within a dynamic environment to preform architectural assignments under the supervision of firm principals, project managers, and architects
Architectural design, design development and documentation
Document changes/revisions as instructed
Review of developer's architectural documents for contractual compliance with design standards
Assists with feasibility assessments, benchmarking, and concept studies
Assist with master planning efforts
Provision of construction administration services - overseeing project completion
Development of As-Built drawing sets to deliver to the client
Digital rendering and 3D modeling
Concept diagramming/ 2D image development
Maintaining relationships with clients, sub-contractors, and construction team
Create graphics and research information for inclusion in marketing and promotional
Requirements Minimum Qualifications
Education: An accredited Bachelors or Masters of Architecture degree
Experience: Recent graduate to Four years of experience in the practice of architecture
Necessary Skills
Strong creative and technical thinking skills
Strong presentation & graphic communication skills
Strong verbal & written skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suites
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong administrative and project management skills with the ability to work within budgetary guidelines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to build relationships and work successfully with many different constituents and personnel
All around practical knowledge preferred
