Position Overview As a Senior Technical Sourcer, you will identify and engage world‑class engineering talent across autonomous systems, robotics, AI/ML, hardware, and electrical. You will focus on uncovering highly specialized, often passive candidates and partnering closely with recruiters and engineering leaders to build strong, forward‑looking talent pipelines in a fast‑paced defense environment.
Responsibilities
Proactively source hard‑to‑find talent across Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, Electrical, Embedded, Autonomy, and Systems Engineering
Develop creative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, referrals, events, and targeted research
Build and maintain long‑term pipelines for critical and future hiring needs
Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define search strategies and align on priorities
Conduct initial screens to assess technical depth, domain expertise, and program eligibility (including defense requirements)
Provide market insights and track sourcing metrics to continuously improve effectiveness
Maintain accurate and organized records of sourcing activity within the ATS
Track and analyze sourcing metrics including pipeline health, conversion rates, and time‑to‑engagement
Ensure a high‑quality candidate experience through thoughtful communication and timely follow‑up
Qualifications
5+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, including 3+ years supporting deeply technical engineering roles
Proven success sourcing in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Electrical, Embedded, Robotics, or related fields
Strong proficiency with advanced sourcing tools and Boolean techniques
Experience in defense, aerospace, robotics, manufacturing, or other regulated environments
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior technical stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple high‑priority searches independently in a startup environment
Preferred
Experience supporting roles within defense, aerospace, robotics, manufacturing, or other highly regulated technical environments
Background in high‑growth or scaling organizations
Working knowledge of autonomous systems and hardware/software integration landscapes
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages).
