A day in the life of our In Room Dining Server demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our In Room Dining Server accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know. Running food and amenities from the IRD kitchen to all guest rooms in a timely manner during their day. Double‑checking every order, coordinating removal of room service equipment from guest rooms and public areas, and maintaining departmental supply storage organization and cleanliness requisitions to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience. Communicating all special guest requests to kitchen, putting together and delivering VIP amenities and gifts. Preventing and correcting imperfections and blemishes that tend to occur. In‑room Dining Servers are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct. Communicating with other departments and the extended hotel team to ensure alignment and operational efficiency. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk and stand for up to 8 hours. The employee must consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and possess close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. What you'll bring
