Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices accurately and on time, ensuring pricing and billing accuracy against sales orders.

Post and apply customer payments, research short payments or unapplied cash, and provide proof of payment when needed.

Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records within ERP systems and support AR reconciliations.

Monitor customer credit limits and flag accounts exceeding approved exposure; elevate high-risk or sensitive accounts to the Credit Manager.

Maintain clear and structured communication with customers regarding payment status, commitments, and account inquiries.

Research and resolve billing discrepancies, price variances, credits, and invoice disputes in collaboration with Sales, Logistics, Customer Service, and Operations teams.

Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to obtain proof of delivery and resolve fulfillment-related billing issues.

Support customer onboarding by setting up new customer profiles, completing portal registrations, and maintaining vendor documentation.

Contribute to weekly cash reporting, aging analysis, and DSO tracking.

Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including AR reserve schedules and audit support.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; CPA or MBA preferred not required.

2+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience in a B2B or wholesale environment preferred; fashion, retail, or consumer goods is a plus.

Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash and AR processes.

Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, Looker) and advanced Excel skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities.
