Our Client, an Retail Cosmetics company, is looking for an UX (User Experience) Research for their Bolingbrook, IL location.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and documentation of research best practices and standards

Support cross-functional workshops, ideation sessions and knowledge sharing sessions with research insights

Help optimize, maintain, and manage research tools

Partner closely with product design, project management, analytics and optimization teams throughout the research process to ensure alignment

Continuously explore new research methods and stay current on UX trends and emerging tools

Support special projects related to personalization, loyalty and in-store experiences

Provide mentorship or peer coaching to more junior team members or interns when appropriate

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, Anthropology or a related field

5+ years of experience conducting UX research in digital product environments (e-commerce or mobile app preferred)

Demonstrated ability to be proactive and independently lead, scope, and deliver end-to-end research initiatives

Strong command of usability testing, qualitative interviewing, survey design and data synthesis

Proficiency with tools such as Figma, UserTesting.com, Dscout, Dovetail, Marvin or similar platforms

Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills

Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently or in a team

Familiarity with agile product development workflows and UX design practices

Comfortable balancing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

A passion for Client Beauty, its products, and a deep curiosity about customer behavior

This position can be remote, local candidates are always preferred for Client Highly desired
