Job Description An Insight Global client is seeking a strategic, aggressive, and collaborative Vice President, IDN & GPO Contracting and Sales to join its Enterprise Sales Team. This executive-level role is responsible for driving enterprise growth for med/serge through strategic contracting and business development efforts with Vizient GPO and select, high-priority Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) partners.

This individual will own the Vizient GPO relationship while also leading strategy and execution across a targeted set of top IDN accounts. The role is heavily focused on new business development, contract performance optimization, and removing barriers to market access, enabling downstream field sales success.

Reporting directly to the SVP of Enterprise Sales, this role will play a critical part in shaping long-term commercial strategy, strengthening national agreements, and expanding the organization’s footprint across large health systems and IDNs. This position has no direct reports and requires approximately 50% travel.

$160,000 to $275,000 total compensation - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field

10+ years of progressive sales and leadership experience in medical device, supplies, or healthcare services

Demonstrated success securing and managing national GPO and IDN contracts, specifically with Vizient

Experience calling on large IDNs

Strong background in acute care sales and med-surg

Executive presence with the ability to influence C‑suite and senior stakeholders

Expertise in negotiation, project management, financial analysis, and CRM usage

Ability to meet credentialing requirements for healthcare facilities

Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel frequently
