Job Description Our client is seeking a Sales Consultant to support the growth of their cloud-based product offerings. This role is responsible for managing approximately 10–12 customer appointments per day, identifying prospective customers, and selling multiple solutions aligned to client needs. The Sales Consultant will leverage CRM systems and statistical tools to track performance, analyze trends, and contribute to overall sales strategy.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the marketing team to align on common strategies and monitor sales performance metrics. You will play a key role in setting departmental sales targets, analyzing market and competitive trends, and ensuring the sales team remains informed and motivated to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable navigating multiple applications while maintaining strong customer conversations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of products, services, and sales terms including features, return policies, and warranties.
Conduct 10–12 customer appointments per day to promote and sell cloud-based solutions.
Set and track sales department targets.
Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute shared strategies.
Monitor sales performance metrics and marketing data.
Calculate and report on business trends, including monthly sales rates.
Analyze market trends and monitor competitive activity.
Identify prospective customers and new target segments.
Ensure the sales team is informed of current business targets.
Motivate and support the sales team to achieve performance goals.
Utilize CRM systems and statistical software to gather and interpret sales data.
Required Experience/Skills
Proven work experience as a Sales Consultant.
Strong conversation and communication skills.
Ability to navigate multiple applications simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis software such as SPSS or SAS.
Familiarity with CRM programs.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to gather, interpret, and analyze data.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience selling cloud-based products.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing teams.
Experience monitoring business trends and competitive landscapes.
Training & Schedule
3 weeks of training plus 1 week of nesting.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM ET.
Pay
$24.86/hour and monthly bonus potential up to $1,300
