What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to identify upsell opportunities
Establish relationships with key stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor to customers
Manage territory activities including prospecting, lead generation, and sales forecasting
Stay informed about industry trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of two (2) years of proven successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer service
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation skills, and closing strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an aptitude for customer relationship building
Proficiency with MS Office software and CRM technology
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in the educational publishing industry
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM technologies
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with peers and superiors
Ability to analyze market data to inform sales strategies and product development
Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
