We are seeking a Senior Investor Reporting Associate with 4–6 years of relevant investor reporting and/or mortgage banking experience. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of monthly investor payments and payoffs, including the precise reporting and remittance of funds to multiple investors.

The Senior Investor Reporting Associate oversees the movement of funds, ensuring accurate and timely execution, and brings extensive product knowledge of Ginnie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Fannie Mae, as well as applicable third-party investor requirements. The role includes oversight of P&I custodial accounts, proactive prevention of overdrafts, and a detailed understanding of investor, trustee, and servicing agreement requirements, including the ability to interpret complex servicing agreements.

Leveraging deep subject-matter expertise, the Senior Investor Reporting Associate also supports the Investor Reporting Vice President with additional initiatives and assignments as needed. The role requires advanced proficiency in Excel, including the development of workbooks that drive fund movements and wire activity to investors and trustees.

Additional responsibilities include researching and providing documentation for audit requests and participating in UAT testing related to enterprise system upgrades. These functions are critical to maintaining operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, and minimizing financial risk to the organization.

The position is located in Lower Gwynedd, PA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the accuracy and timing of the monthly reports, remittances and cash reconciliations for Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Securitized loans, Credit Enhanced Bonds, third-party lenders, and service fees.

Review, interpret and follow Investor Guides, CMBS transactions agreements and loan documents.

Review monthly remittance reports for securitized loans to be delivered to Newmark’s Master Servicers, identify any variances and provide research for solutions.

Determine the proper reporting for exception transactions (maturities, maturity extensions, foreclosures, and repurchase of pools) to mitigate financial risk to Newmark.

Prepare investor and trustee money movement and wire forms by having a full understanding of investor requirements, bank account listing, and system cash and non-cash transactions.

Have advance knowledge of Excel, create and maintain the use of Excel workbooks to direct the movement of funds remitted to our investors and trustees.

Maintain written policies and procedure on an ongoing basis for department related responsibilities. Test and maintain ongoing procedures and revise as needed.

Backup the Investor Reporting VP as needed.

Qualifications:

4 to 6 years work experience, preferably in a mortgage servicing, mortgage banking, or financial services environment.
