Description We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Wholesale Sales Manager to grow and lead a team of Account Executives at Verus Wholesale, a non-agency mortgage company. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring team success in achieving company goals. As a key leader, you will oversee account management, develop strategic initiatives, and contribute to the company’s overall growth in the wholesale mortgage market.
Compensation:
$75,000 base salary plus commission.
Responsibilities and Duties: Leadership and Team Management
Upon joining, you are expected to bring 2–3 experienced sales professionals as part of your team and actively recruit additional talent to enhance market coverage.
Train, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Account Executives.
Set individual and team goals, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to achieve targets.
Foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture that aligns with the company’s values and mission.
Sales Strategy and Execution
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth in the non-agency mortgage market.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, operations, and marketing, to streamline processes and enhance client satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other key partners to expand the company’s network and market presence.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and meetings to promote services and build brand awareness.
Ensure customer needs are met by addressing concerns promptly and providing exceptional service.
Performance and Reporting
Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to optimize sales productivity and efficiency.
Manage sales budgets and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred, or comparable professional experience.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in wholesale mortgage sales, with a focus on non-agency products.
Minimum 2+ years managing a wholesale non-Agency sales team.
Deep understanding of wholesale mortgage products, particularly non-agency loans.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in Salesforce software and other sales tools.
