A growing Hotel Group seeks an experienced
Second in Command
Hotel Maintenance Technician. The ideal Candidate will have a proven track record of working in a Luxury Hotel, Apartment, or Condo building. This is an opportunity for a Hospitality Professional to join a strong and stable company with a Guest and Team-focused Culture.

Responsibilities
Support Director of Maintenance
Responsible for the daily operations within the Maintenance department
Ensure that the maintenance of the hotel, inside and out, is kept up, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and general carpentry
Develop and implement cost reduction, work simplification, and method improvement programs
Prepares and/or evaluates designs and specifications for all Engineering projects, both in‑house and contractors
Manages regular engineering subcontractors and vendors
Supervises the installation and construction of all work assigned by the Director of Engineering & Property Development
Perform basic duties of General Maintenance, Electrician, Carpenter, and HVAC person, as needed
Qualifications
Previous maintenance experience in a hotel, residential, or commercial setting preferred
High school diploma or equivalent, minimum three (3) years of experience in a Hotel Maintenance Dept.
Capable of effectively managing the Maintenance Team
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to work closely with all Hotel departments
Must possess or be willing to attain necessary certifications for facilities management
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent written and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
