As our
Regional Sales Manager
you willplay an influential role in the region’s market. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing our sales activity across distributors and retailer partnerships and providing direction against ONCE UPON A COCONUT sales goals and objectives.The candidate for this position will be based in their geographic area and work directly with our distributor partners.
Responsibilities
Achieve and deliver annual plans for the region that reflect brand and customer strategies and support delivery of business goals.
Translates business strategy into clear and locally executable plans and focuses resources accordingly within their respective territory. Motivates and manages distributor partners to gain inordinate amount of mindshare and resources.
Establish and manage key customer relationships through joint business planning that strengthens and builds on the success of the brand.
Understanding the dynamics of the respective region, providing insight and direction to develop solutions that promote and build the ONCE UPON A COCONUT brand.
Responsible for all distributor management decisions and relationships with guidance from the Sales Leadership.Execution of both distributor and warehouse direct programs.
Build and develop the brand by opening new retailer accounts on a daily/weekly/monthly basis through distributor execution and develop/grow existing customers.
Schedule, conduct, and participate in distributor meetings to educate, inform, and build capabilities on selling ONCE UPON A COCONUT products.
Responsible for building sales presentations and reports to share both internally and with distributor /broker partners that will provide an action-oriented response.
Support the planning and management of region forecast, budget, sales expense, and T&E.
Work closely with our Marketing team to establish and implement successful marketing programs, campaigns, and materials to profitably increase availability and points of distribution
Scheduling, executing, and tracking all crew drives and sales rallies in respective region.
The ideal ONCE UPON A COCONUT RSM candidate will have an understanding of the brand’s vision and core values and must be professional, enthusiastic, a solid team player, and possess a drive for results.They should have outgoing social energy, strong decision making and analytical skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to think strategically and creatively, the ability to multi-task, a willingness to roll up his/her sleeves as needed, be self-motivated, and have a passion for the consumer and health / wellness brands. Knowledge of DSD beverage networks in the region is a must.
Qualifications
BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related major
3-5+ years of Sales and Distributor Management ideally with a beverage company
Early stage start up experience with beverage a plus, but not required
Extremely organized, dependable, and self-motivated
Able to work independently and have the ability to deal with a wide range of people
Strong computer skills – specifically knowledge in Office, Google, Slack.
Strong analytical skills and ability to use reports and syndicated data to achieve goals and objectives. Knowledge of VIP Data
Willingness to travel 20-30%
A clean driving record & strong geographic knowledge of the respective territory is a must
