
Position Overview
The Operations and Strategy Coordinator is a strategic partner to the Chief of Staff and Vice President, Community Impact and Vitality. This role ensures the Chief of Staff and Vice President, Community Impact and Vitality priorities are carried out with precision, clarity, and alignment across the department. The Coordinator serves as a liaison between the Vice President and internal leadership, driving coordination, managing key projects and tasks, and providing executive-level support.

Chief of Staff and Vice President, Community Impact and Vitality priorities are executed with precision and alignment
Agency-wide projects and tasks are delivered on time and within scope
Communication between the Chief of Staff and Vice President, Community and Vitality and agency leaders is streamlined and proactive
Stakeholder relationships are strengthened and well-managed
Executive materials are consistently high-quality and impactful (i.e. writing of reports and other vital communications)
President’s Office and CIV operations run smoothly and efficiently
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Thought Partnership
Serve as a strategic partner and sounding board to the Chief of Staff and Vice President, Community Impact and Vitality
Translate high-level goals into actionable plans and track execution
Executive Operations, Finance, & Support
Manage the Vice President, Community Impact and Vitality calendar, travel, and meeting logistics
Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and draft minutes for President’s Office and CIV
Ensure timely follow-up on action items and deliverables
Support development and oversight of the CIV departmental budget by tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and recommending cost-effective strategies.
Project Management
Lead cross-functional projects for President’s Office and CIV
Monitor progress, flag risks, and drive accountability
Communication & Content Development
Draft, proofread, edit reports, concept papers, and presentations
Develop high-impact PowerPoint decks and executive communications
Ensure consistent messaging and alignment across materials
Stakeholder Engagement & Liaison
Act as the primary point of contact between the Vice President and internal stakeholders
Represent the Chief of Staff and Vice President in meetings and engagements when appropriate
Operational Excellence
Identify and implement process improvements
Support budget tracking, resource planning, and performance metrics
Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Strategic thinking with strong operational execution
Executive-level writing, editing, and presentation development
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
High emotional intelligence and interpersonal savvy
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and project management tools
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Communications, or related field
5–7 years of experience in executive support, project management, or operations
Experience in nonprofit, business, or mission-driven organizations preferred
Proven track record of working with senior leadership and managing complex initiatives, programs, or departments
