Overview
Position Summary
We’re looking for a Commercial Superintendent to lead on-site operations with precision, safety, and professionalism. This is a field-first role for someone who thrives on orchestrating trades, solving problems in real time, and ensuring projects are built to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
Direct all on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance
Manage subcontractors and coordinate daily activities
Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and maintain look-ahead schedules
Communicate with owners, architects, and engineers to resolve issues
Review drawings for constructability and coordinate field adjustments
Oversee inspections, punch lists, and project closeout
Mentor field staff and uphold Modus’ standards of craftsmanship
Qualifications
3–5+ years as a superintendent in commercial construction
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar software
Based in the OKC metro (or willing to relocate)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $70,000+ (based on experience)
Company vehicle or allowance, plus fuel & phone stipends
