
JOB TITLE: Content Marketing Specialist, Fire TV Channels
LOCATION: Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA (Onsite) DURATION: 6 Months PAY RANGE: $25 - $35/hr.
Overview We’re looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to help grow and shape our FAST (Free, Ad‑Supported TV) streaming app, Fire TV Channels. This role sits at the intersection of content, marketing, and audience growth, providing free content to millions of customers on Fire TV, Echo Show, and Fire Tablet devices. You’ll work alongside our Senior Marketing Program Manager to help decide what we promote, how we position it, and where it appears for customers—all with the goal of driving hours streamed and Customer Obsession.
What You’ll Do
Curate video content (create and manage playlists, update app pages and placements) around new channels, shows, and tentpole moments.
Design marketing assets while supporting brand voice and messaging across all touchpoints.
Assist in managing the marketing calendar and launching new content partners.
Collaborate with the product and design teams to position programming in a way that resonates with FAST audiences.
Analyze performance metrics (hours streamed, CTR, retention) and use insights to optimize AVOD and FAST performance.
Qualifications
2+ years copywriting, graphic design, project management, and/or content/digital marketing experience (streaming, media, or entertainment background a big plus).
Demonstrated interest and expertise (as a fan or professional) in Fire TV Channels’ content categories, including news, sports, entertainment, music, creators, podcasts, and/or lifestyle categories (i.e., cooking, home and DIY, fashion, travel, technology, and more).
Experience in marketing content in a digital product (apps, streaming platforms, media brands, or subscriptions).
Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools, including the Adobe Creative Suite (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
Familiarity with editorial or video content management systems.
Knowledge of FAST, AVOD, and streaming trends to identify new growth opportunities.
Comfort working with data and analytics tools.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects at once.
Undergraduate degree.
