Marketing Content Specialist

to support a free ad-supported streaming platform delivering news, sports, entertainment, and lifestyle content to millions of customers across connected TV and smart devices in

Seattle, WA . This

6-month contract

role sits at the intersection of content, marketing, and audience growth, partnering closely with senior program leadership to determine what content is promoted, how it is positioned, and where it appears to maximize engagement and viewing time. This position is ideal for a creative yet data-driven marketing professional with experience in digital media, streaming, or content marketing who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

This Position Will Own the Following Tasks:

Responsibilities

Curate video content by creating playlists and managing app pages, placements, and programming highlights

Support promotional strategy for new channels, shows, and tentpole events

Design marketing assets while maintaining brand voice and messaging consistency

Assist with managing the marketing calendar and coordinating launches for new content partners

Collaborate with Product, Design, and Content teams to optimize content positioning for streaming audiences

Analyze performance metrics such as viewing hours, CTR, and retention to improve campaign effectiveness

Identify trends in ad-supported streaming to inform programming and promotional decisions

Ensure content merchandising aligns with customer behavior and engagement goals

Support day-to-day content operations and updates across digital touchpoints

Required Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, copywriting, graphic design, or project management

Experience marketing content within a digital product (apps, streaming platforms, media brands, or subscription services)

Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or After Effects

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

Comfort working with data, metrics, and analytics tools

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to execute quickly in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Background in streaming, media, or entertainment marketing

Knowledge of FAST (Free Ad-Supported TV) or AVOD ecosystems

Experience with editorial or video content management systems

Passion for digital content trends and audience engagement

Experience supporting cross-functional product launches or campaigns
