Technical Sourcer - High-growth, Series A, AI Native business
Salary: $generous and open doe
New York (hybrid model 2 days a week in the office)
We’re partnering with a native AI company fresh off a strong Series A - they are doubling in size as they scale a high-bar, forward deployed engineering team.
Hiring is the number one priority internally-this is not a transactional sourcing role. This position sits at the heart of scaling a high-bar, customer-facing engineering team.
You’ll own top-of-funnel strategy for forward deployed engineers-operating in ambiguity, mapping talent markets deeply and partnering closely with recruiters and leadership to maintain quality while increasing volume.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Designing and executing complex technical search strategies across US and UK markets
Owning top-of-funnel metrics and continuously optimizing response and conversion rates
Deep market mapping across AI, infra and enterprise engineering ecosystems
Partnering with recruiters and hiring leaders to refine success patterns
Building proactive pipelines for high-impact, customer-facing engineers
Maintaining hiring quality while increasing throughput
What we’re looking for:
Proven technical sourcing experience (software engineering ideally)
Strong understanding of funnel metrics and data-driven optimization
Ability to articulate why certain engineering profiles succeed or fail
Comfort operating in ambiguity without heavy process or playbooks
High ownership, intellectual curiosity and outcome orientation
Experience in AI, infra, tech consulting or strong engineering cultures is a plus
This role is not for:
Surface-level sourcers who rely purely on titles and logos
Process-dependent big tech operators who need rigid structure
Profiles unable to articulate metrics, strategy or behavioural depth
Those seeking a low-autonomy or purely administrative environment
If you’re someone who sees sourcing as a craft, thrives in high-performance environments and wants your work directly tied to company growth, I’d welcome a conversation.
