Sr Director, Product Specialist Sales
Samsung Electronics America, New York, New York, us, 10261
Position Summary
Samsung Ads is an advanced advertising platform that leverages Samsung’s massive first-party TV data to help brands connect with audiences across all screens. With over 200 million Samsung Smart TVs worldwide, we provide advertisers with unparalleled reach and insights into TV viewership. We are at the forefront of the connected TV revolution, delivering advertising solutions that are intelligent, innovative, and effective.
Role and Responsibilities At Samsung Ads, we're redefining the future of digital advertising by connecting brands with audiences in innovative ways. As a global leader in technology and innovation, we're looking for a strong Senior Director overseeing Product Sales Specialists to lead our efforts in North America, building the first-ever Product Specialist Sales organization at Samsung Ads.
The Role: We're looking for an experienced, well-rounded Senior Director to lead our Samsung Ads Product Specialist Sales team (PSS). This B2B-focused role is responsible for understanding, selling, and driving adoption of new Samsung Ads priority products, including offerings across the full funnel.
This leader will be responsible for working closely with Sales and GTM partners to help customers activate new Samsung Ads Solutions. This revenue-overlay team carries a lead list, quota, and a clear mandate to help key account owners at Samsung drive customer adoption and implementation of new products. This role will be comfortable accompanying Sales to speak with external customers daily, pitch new products to new-to-Samsung stakeholders, and educate the market on new Samsung offerings. A key measure of success will be product adoption, revenue per product, and an improved deal cycle time (e.g. shortened time to close). Many products are innovative and in alpha or beta, so a creative and adaptable approach is beneficial.
This senior leadership role is critical for ensuring the continued success of Samsung Ads. This role reports into the Managing Director of Commercialization, and will manage a team of 4-5 senior individual contributors, including senior IC Product Support Specialists that oversee a mix of upper funnel (e.g. Sponsorships and Live Content, Gaming/Innovation) and lower funnel product adoption (e.g. Mobile Conversion, Web Conversion, some select data-heavy products like Data+/DCR/Clean Rooms/etc).
The goal of this role, over time, is to make Samsung Ads a must-buy partner to top brands and agencies by activating investment in new areas and new products for existing customers. A secondary goal is to simplify, streamline, and better define Samsung’s product adoption and GTM.
This role is based in-office at Samsung Ads in New York City (1 PENN Plaza). This role is in-office 3 days per week, and going to 5 days per week starting July 2026, consistent with broader Samsung America policies. Samsung offers a variety of benefits, including generous employee health, financial, and well being benefits, daily free catered lunches, top-tier devices, and more.
What You'll Do:
Own Product Specialist Sales for Samsung Ads - Serve as the senior point of contact for Product Specialist Sales, working closely with GTM and Sales leaders to bring products from launch into successful, always-on, must-buy offerings across enterprise and growth customers.

Leverage these relationships and this support model to drive always-on, sticky, recurring revenue and adoption for target products.
Translate Product Offerings into Customer Business Objectives - Take complex products and distill them into easy-to-understand offerings for non-technical audiences, helping sellers deliver presentations live to customers. Handle objections and feedback.
Build and Refine Value Propositions - Leverage materials from Sales Enablement and Product Marketing in-market with customers, and provide feedback on value proposition to refine and improve messaging.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on a Product - Serve as the go-to SME on several priority products for Samsung, including Performance / Conversion products, Gaming, Commerce and Innovation products (GameBreaks, etc), and Sponsorships/Packaging products, ultimately inspiring confidence in sellers and adoption/revenue from clients.
Partner Cross-Functionally - Work daily with Sales, Customer Success, Go To Market, Product Managers, Product Strategy, Marketing and others to bring offerings to life. Regularly to go top-to-top and bring an informed recommendation on product steer and deployment.
