Surface Experts is a comprehensive hard surface repair company. We can fix minor damages to many surfaces, including bathtubs, cabinets, floors, appliances, countertops, furniture, elevator panels … you name it! By combining traditional trades with our own proprietary processes and products, we can provide long-lasting repairs that are pleasing to the eye and maintain the original materials. We can repair small damage rather than resurfacing or replacing, resulting in satisfied customers who keep calling us back. Our goal is a happy customer who has saved money and time while avoiding adding another damaged surface to the landfill. Our typical repair doesn’t make a mess, doesn’t leave a smell, and doesn’t take more than 2 hours. Technicians typically need only a tablespoon or two of product, allowing them to carry everything in a small truck or car. Benefits

As our

Business Development Representative , you’ll be responsible for planning your day and calling on properties throughout the north side of Chicago and near-in suburbs. We’re looking for a motivated individual who enjoys connecting with people, building lasting partnerships, and educating customers about our one-of-a-kind repair services. Map your route, planning on 15-minute on-site visits throughout the north side of Chicago and near-in suburbs (e.g. Evanston, Skokie, Niles, Park Ridge) to schedule jobs for our technicians to repair Log notes/metrics in our software and coordinate with the Owner/Sales team Light admin and prep from your home, before daily driving to visit properties in various neighborhoods each day Weekly sales coaching, ongoing support, and regular reviews to track overall performance against sales goals What we’re looking for

Coachable — eager to learn, open to feedback, takes responsibility for results, and willing to run a proven sales playbook Curious — comfortable asking questions and seeks to serve customers by understanding them first Motivated — independent and driven person who isn’t satisfied settling and strives to build and maintain strong client relationships Detail-Oriented — executes daily habits (routing, documenting metrics, sending follow-ups) that turn activity into revenue, consistently Valid driver’s license, clean record, and reliable transportation (mileage and parking reimbursement provided) Based in or near Chicago, with daily travel around the north side and nearby suburbs (e.g. Evanston, Skokie, Niles, Park Ridge) Strong communication skills — bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Perks and Benefits
