
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a proactive and experienced
Sales Pricing Analytics Specialist - Power
to support Americas Power Management Business Unit that is focused on critical data center infrastructure. This role will be instrumental in delivering financial insights that drive operational efficiency, support pricing, costing and strategic initiatives, and improve commercial finance performance in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment. Ideal candidates will have 4-8 years of experience in financial analysis—preferably in a business unit setting—and a strong interest in supporting mission‑critical systems like UPS, Energy Storage, Power distribution units, and DC Power solutions used in modern data centers. This position will be in Westerville, OH location and will report to Sr. Director, Americas Power Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to track
project‑level cost performance
and
margin analysis .
Partner with sales, operations, and executive leadership to evaluate and improve
commercial deal structures , pricing models, and profitability.
Develop
financial models
and business cases for large customer deals, new product introductions, and custom engineered‑to‑order solutions.
Provide financial guidance on
margin enhancement opportunities , including customer mix, channel strategy, and cost‑to‑serve analysis.
Review contracts, focusing on financial terms and risk exposure related to payment terms, incentives, escalation clauses, and penalties.
Drive finance involvement in change order process, working cross functionally to quantify fixed and variable costs incurred as the result of customer change orders.
Contribute to strategic pricing initiatives, including competitive benchmarking and value‑based pricing strategies for critical data center products.
Track and report on key commercial metrics such as backlog conversion, booking trends, and revenue recognition risks.
Support creation of account and volume‑based
pricing strategies .
Assist in the development of sales/order/pipeline generation/margin target and scenario analysis to support commercial planning and executive decision‑making.
Contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance financial systems, tools, and reporting processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
4-8 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably for
data center enterprises or data‑center infrastructure related applications .
Understanding of cost accounting principles and operational finance fundamentals.
Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle.
Ability to synthesize large sets of data and present insights clearly to business partners.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and willingness to learn technical concepts related to data center infrastructure.
