Marketing Specialist
to support a fast-paced Marketing Department within a mission-focused financial services organization in
North Chesterfield, Virginia . This role is ideal for a marketing professional who thrives in collaborative environments, enjoys campaign execution, and is passionate about building brand engagement, customer acquisition, and retention strategies. This contract opportunity offers hands-on exposure to multi-channel marketing initiatives, digital campaigns, content creation, and cross-functional collaboration in a highly regulated financial services environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by delivering measurable marketing impact. Key Responsibilities
Execute and support
multi-channel marketing campaigns
including email marketing, digital marketing, social media, direct mail, and in-branch promotions Develop and edit marketing content including campaign copy, social media posts, internal communications, and promotional materials Coordinate project timelines, approvals, and deliverables with internal stakeholders and external vendors Manage updates to website content and digital marketing assets Track, analyze, and report on
marketing performance metrics
(open rates, engagement, conversions, CTR, ROI) Ensure brand consistency, compliance, and regulatory alignment across all marketing materials Provide administrative, operational, and project support to the Marketing team Support member acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives through data-driven marketing strategies Required Skills/Education
Minimum
3+ years of experience
in marketing, communications, brand management, or a related field Experience supporting
digital marketing campaigns
and integrated marketing strategies Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience creating creative briefs and supporting marketing strategy development Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in
Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and leadership teams Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
financial services, banking, credit unions, or regulated industries Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field Experience with
email marketing platforms
(Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools) Familiarity with
