About Pinewood Country Club: Pinewood Country Club is a member‑owned club country club nestled in the Ponderosa pine forest north of Phoenix, about two hours from Phoenix and 15 miles south of Flagstaff. The club features an 18‑hole championship course (6,625 yards), a comfortable and welcoming « club in the country » atmosphere, with amenities that extend beyond golf: casual dining, social events, and recreational options for families and members of all ages. As an Assistant Golf Professional at Pinewood Country Club, you will be a key member of the golf operations team. You’ll help manage daily golf operations, provide exceptional service to members and their guests, assist with instruction and events, and help maintain the high standards and welcoming environment that define Pinewood. Start and End Dates: Flexible, but preferably mid‑March or April 1, 2026, through November 1, 2026. Why Work at Pinewood?

Prior Private Golf Course Experience is strongly preferred Strong teaching skills Qualifications

Experience at a respected, high‑end private club is preferred. A professional track record marked by integrity, consistent employment stability, and commitment to previous employers. Knowledge of best practices in top‑performing, high member‑satisfaction private golf operations. Strong interpersonal and team‑building skills with the ability to foster a culture of service excellence. A positive, upbeat attitude with a sense of humor and approachability. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and experience with Jonas POS and Golf Genius Tournament Software. Leadership abilities with a strong desire to pursue or continue PGA membership. Professional Attributes

A passion for delivering excellence in all aspects of the club’s golf operation, including team development and member service. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring consistent quality and member satisfaction. Keen attention to follow‑up and oversight of all golf operation areas, especially outside services, course access, and golf shop retail. Play golf rounds with Members and interclub matches. Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to engage with women, men, and junior golfers, actively participating in programs and events. Ability to provide golf instruction to players of all skill levels in both private and group settings. Operational Responsibilities

Assist with golfer check‑in, fee collection, tee sheet management, and ensuring smooth flow of play. Assist with managing outside service staff to ensure the highest quality of member and guest service. Participate in daily inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining a professional and organized golf shop. Ensure proper staging and upkeep of the cart fleet, practice facilities, and other daily operational areas. Assist with all aspects of tournament operations and weekly events, including:

Event planning, setup and execution Course setup and preparation Scoring and results management Prize distribution and post‑event billing Event promotion and communication

Perform golf club repair services, including regripping. Benefits
