SEASONAL POSITION
At SeaWorld, we're passionate about caring for animals. We have rescued over 40,000 animals (and counting!). We're seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and hardworking individuals to become our Ambassadors and play an important part on our team. This is a seasonal role
Please note: We are not accepting J-1 Visa students at this time and do not sponsor visas at our park. All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of their interview and will be required to provide proof of work authorization upon hire. You should be available to attend an in-person interview at the date and time you select, as exceptions cannot be made to this requirement. If you are a previous Ambassador, please do not schedule yourself for an interview.
What You Get To Do
Greets and provides guests with information about park shows and attractions Communicates safety policies to park guests Opens and closes gates for shows based on guest occupancy and show times Ensures excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations, and needs Represents the park with a positive attitude, high energy, and commitment to quality in all aspects of the job Maintains cleanliness of all assigned areas Performs other duties as assigned
What It Takes To Succeed
Must be at least 16 years of age Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds Must be able to climb stairs Must have strong written and verbal communication skills Must be able to read, write, and speak English Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment Must be able to work with cleaning machines Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods (often in direct sunlight) Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions (e.g., wet/humid conditions and sun) Must be able to positively interact with park guests and co-workers of all ages, backgrounds, languages, and individuals with special needs
Availability And Hours
This is a seasonal role During the peak season, 5 days of unrestricted availability, including weekends, is expected Must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays Hours vary based on business need May be scheduled 0–40 hours per week based on business need

Compensation
17.75 USD per hour
