Responsibilities
Clean equipment, utensils, pots and pans, floors, and walls in a food service department.
Operate dishwasher, pot and pan washer, and other cleaning supplies and equipment.
Pick up used dishes, pre‑rinse, and wash them by machine or by hand.
Perform general helper duties and assist with supplies and food: replenish milk, transport supplies, unpack stock, and help serve at the counter when needed.
Maintain sanitation standards: clean machines and kitchen equipment, wash floors and walls, wax floors, clean windows, and perform other general cleaning as directed.
Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
Work under the immediate supervision of the area supervisor.
Qualifications
Ability to work cooperatively in a food service environment.
Physical ability to stand, walk short distances, reach for, lift, and carry various materials, and to perform light and heavy cleaning tasks.
