Pay Range

Base: $45,000.00/yr - $50,000.00/yr.

Summary

The Program Director oversees Youth Development (Summer Camp, Before and After), Youth Sports and Aquatics at Enterprise YMCA. The role upholds Christian principles by modeling character and building community. It also exemplifies the four pillars of character: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily scheduling of Afterschool, Summer Camp, youth sports programming, and outdoor pool.
  • Maintain records of the child care area, including enrollment and attendancehald.
  • Prepare and manage the budget for the areas of responsibility.
  • Develop, plan, promote, and implementPartial programs for those areas.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise all staff and volunteers in those areas.
  • Schedule all childcare events (registration, marketing, field trips, bus drivers).
  • Collaborate with Marketing Director to promote information to members.
  • Provide leadership and support for all front‑line staff implementing membership services and activities.
  • AssistYSICAL in facility management.
  • Build community relationships to support local YMCA efforts.
  • Develop an annual plan to secure team sponsorships and support for the annual campaign (scholarships for needy families).
  • Generate and supervise staff, demonstrating outstanding customer service, problem solving, and training opportunities.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Program Director may directly supervise all employees in Youth Sports, Aquatics, and Child Care Departments, following the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuer, AED, O2, Bloodborne Pathogens, and other safety trainings required by the YMCA.
