JOB SUMMARY
The Global Clients Americas (GCA) Senior Program Director (SPD) serves as a senior-level strategic leader overseeing multiple global client programs or a portfolio of high-value accounts. This role is responsible for driving enterprise-level security strategy, operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across complex, multinational environments. The SPD acts as a trusted advisor to client executives and internal leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, risk mitigation, and sustainable growth. This position provides thought leadership, governance, and advanced program oversight, bridging tactical execution and executive vision while embedding operational rigor and a growth mindset.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
Reporting to the GCA Vice President, with broader scope and authority across 3-5 GCA accounts leading 2-5 direct reports. Serves as a key influencer in global security strategy, technology integration, and client transformation initiatives. Provides leadership to Program Directors and regional teams, ensuring consistency and scalability of security programs worldwide.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops and governs global security program frameworks across multiple GCA accounts; ensures harmonization with corporate standards and client objectives, embedding compliance standards and continuous improvement methodologies
Partners with executive leadership to shape long-term security strategies, resilience planning, and digital transformation initiatives; ensures strategies incorporate operational rigor and regulatory adherence
Provides oversight and guidance to GCA Managers and/or Program Directors; to drive account growth, ensure operational alignment, financial performance, and compliance across all managed programs, driving process discipline and continuous improvement across programs
Serves as senior liaison for executive client stakeholders; drives strategic business reviews and consults on emerging risks, innovation and growth opportunities
Owns P&L responsibility for assigned portfolio; ensures profitability, cost optimization, and contractual compliance; enforces compliance with financial controls and operational governance
Champions integration of advanced security technologies, automation, and analytics; partners with internal technology teams to deliver scalable solutions, ensuring technology adoption supports compliance and efficiency gains
Mentors GCA Managers and/or Program Directors; drives succession planning and leadership development aligned with global frameworks; fosters a growth mindset that encourages learning, professional development, and continuous improvement while promoting a culture of accountability
Ensures adherence to global policies, ESG initiatives, and regulatory requirements across all regions and fosters operational rigor through standardized processes and audits
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred OR equivalent work experience
Experience: 5-7 years of progressively responsible management experience in security program management or a related field, including demonstrated success leading and scaling global client portfolios, driving account expansion, revenue growth, and long-term client retention across complex, multi-region environments
Technical Skills:
- Executive-level communication and strategic consulting capabilities
- Expertise in global risk management, governance, and operational excellence
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing large-scale budgets
- Proficiency in security technologies, data analytics, and digital transformation strategies
- Ability to lead through influence across diverse cultural and regulatory environments
