Head of New Business Sales (SaaS | Fintech)

Location: Huntington Beach, CA | On-site | Full-Time

I’m partnered with an established and growing SaaS company in the fintech / private lending space that is looking for a Head of New Business Sales to build and scale their revenue engine.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a player-coach environment and wants full ownership over go-to-market strategy, team growth, and enterprise-level deal execution.

The firm provides mission-critical software to specialized and private lenders, supporting loan origination, servicing, and fund management. The platform is trusted by over 1,000 customers and operates in a highly regulated, high-ROI market with strong product-market fit and long-term growth runway.

Role overview

You will lead and grow a sales team while personally driving pipeline and closing strategic accounts. This is not a maintenance role; it is a build, scale, and lead opportunity within a proven SaaS business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and scale a growing SaaS sales team
  • Act as a player-coach, owning pipeline and closing key deals
  • Build and refine sales processes, forecasting, and performance metrics
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success on go-to-market strategy
  • Translate complex software value into clear business outcomes for buyers

Qualifications

  • Proven SaaS sales leadership experience (fintech, proptech, or complex B2B preferred)
  • Track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams
  • Strong hunter mentality with hands-on closing ability
  • Solid understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, pipeline health)
  • Strategic, data-driven, and highly communicative leadership style
