Edmonson County Youth Football Director
Job Title: Program Director
Purpose of Job
This position is a supervisory and leadership position, responsible for the development and management of the Youth Football League offered by the Edmonson County Board of Education. Will be responsible for supervising Board of Directors in developing the League Constitution and By-Laws, the league draft procedures and game schedule, background checks, and selection of coaches. Ensuring the League is established as a 501c(3) non-profit organization. It requires evening, weekend and holiday schedules.
Essential Functions
- Works under the Direct Supervision of the Superintendent/designee.
- Recommends fee schedules for Youth League Football registration in conjunction with the Board of Directors.
- Recruits and supervises volunteers for the Board of Directors; conducts training, and orientation of Board of Directors when necessary.
- Market and promotes the Youth League Football Program in conjunction with the Board of Directors.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of program policies and procedures, makes recommendations for revisions and improvements when necessary.
- Monitors inventory of program equipment, materials, and supplies; ensures availability of adequate materials to conduct activities; and initiates orders for program related items.
- Maintains records and provides reports as needed.
- Provides information to the public; responds to questions and complaints related to the Youth Football League; researches problems and initiates problem resolution; resolves conflicts involving citizens.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma (GED) or Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
