This role requires a highly skilled Technical Writer with strong expertise in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Rate Range:
$53/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Technical Writer job responsibilities include:
Create, write, edit, and update technical documentation including user manuals, installation guides, release notes, FAQs, and online help content. Gather information by reviewing product specifications, studying product samples, and interviewing SMEs to ensure technical accuracy. Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect product enhancements, bug fixes, and newly introduced features. Analyze target audiences to produce clear, accessible, and wellstructured content appropriate for varying technical skill levels. Develop and incorporate visuals such as diagrams, screenshots, and illustrations to support and enhance user understanding. Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, UX teams, and customer support to validate information and ensure consistency across all documentation. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. 8-10 years of experience in technical writing, documentation development, or content creation for technical products. Strong expertise in creating and editing technical documentation such as user guides, installation manuals, release notes, and online help content. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs, engineers, and product teams to gather accurate information and maintain highquality, consistent documentation. Pay Details:
$53.00 to $60.00 per hour
