information tabling Beach Befrienders (beach cleanups) public event support and planning advocacy and outreach initiatives Eligibility and Time Commitment
Because of the variety of volunteer opportunities available, VCS will work to place students in age-appropriate roles. Therefore, there is no particular age restrictions for volunteering. No training, certifications, or backgrounds checks are required. There is no minimum time commitment, and VCS will work with students to accommodate their schedules. Volunteer Management
VCS manages a contact list of volunteers, including students, VCS board members, and other community advocates. When volunteer or internship opportunities are available, VCS will send out an email blast notifying volunteers. Students are encouraged to reach out to lucas@vineyardconservation.org if they have ideas for new volunteer initiatives, or are particularly excited about a specific ongoing public service. Students are welcome to sign-up to volunteer in groups. Inquire using the link below.
