Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Carrier Sales Representative based in Houston, TX, allowing for the flexibility of working from home! The Carrier Sales Representative will focus on building and maintaining carrier relationships, negotiating rates with carriers and being the ultimate team player. Responsibilities include negotiating, working closely with account managers, maintaining communication with shippers and carriers, manage all assigned loads, and ensuring a seamless customer experience throughout the logistics process.
Qualifications Strong knowledge of basic computer software and technology skills Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, ensuring clear and timely interactions with clients and carriers A commitment to Customer Satisfaction, with an ability to understand client needs and deliver appropriate solutions Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle logistics challenges effectively (i.e. critical thinking skills) Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in logistics management software and technology is an advantage Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent experience is preferred Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus Experience using load boards such as Truckstop and DAT
