Inside Sales Representative

CB Partners is partnering with a company in Kansas City, MO seeking a Inside Sales Representative to oversee a defined geographic territory and grow customer engagement in a primarily inside‑sales role. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys problem‑solving, building customer relationships, and driving revenue while supporting essential infrastructure industries.
What You’ll Do Manage inbound and outbound calls for all accounts within your assigned territory Build, strengthen, and retain customer relationships by understanding business needs Pursue new business opportunities; identify upsell opportunities with existing accounts Meet or exceed established sales goals Coordinate vendor sourcing to complete orders Follow up on equipment/parts e‑blast reports and conduct outreach as necessary Accurately complete all data entry for quotes, purchase orders, returns, documentation, and shipping details Manage customer complaints and process returns in a timely manner Respond to customer inquiries via phone/email with urgency and professionalism
What We’re Looking For Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills for problem‑solving
Experience & Education Required:
3–5 years of account management and/or sales experience Required:
Industrial or manufacturing sales
