As a Purchasing Specialist, you will support our business by managing vendor relationships, preparing contracts, ensuring compliance, and providing training that supports our day-to-day purchasing operations. In this role, Purchasing Specialists serve as a trusted resource for both our Preferred Partners and internal teams. What You’ll Do:
Onboard new Preferred Partners by preparing contracts and guiding them through each step Train partners on our processes and tools, including the Weekley Partner Hub Keep contract documents organized, updated, and routed to the right teams Collect required waiver/lien releases Research and resolve variance issues with accuracy and urgency Assist partners with payment questions and job reassignments Create extra orders, back-charges, and returns as needed Place and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery Provide information to support rebate submissions for our National Strategic Sourcing Team Prepare weekly and monthly reports Track starts, communicate updates, and help manage changes throughout the process Qualifications:
Experience working in a homebuilder's purchasing department preferred Highly organized, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently Strong professional communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and Preferred Partners The successful candidate is the kind of person who can stay on top of many important, time-sensitive tasks at once and enjoys contributing through supporting their team with the type of enthusiasm others comment on Additional Information
Pay Range
