Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Salary and Schedule Details
Your starting pay will be $13.50 to $14.00 depending on your skills and experience.
This is a Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
Average weekly hours are between 6‑8 hours per week.
Availability before and after major holidays, possibly including weekends, is required.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day engagement: using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete surveys for required merchandising activities.
Holiday support: during seasonal demand peaks (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), additional days and extended hours may be required, including working on the holiday itself.
Department resets: participate in installations, relocations, and resetting of Hallmark fixtures and card sections, typically notified two weeks in advance.
Team support: collaborate with other merchandiser professionals to assist teammates in their territories when needed.
Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Kneilling, squatting, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and using ladders are also required.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Read, write, and understand English.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Operate a digital handheld device to read documents.
Access to Wi‑Fi and internet.
Consistent transportation to travel between assigned stores as scheduled.
