Overview
Waldorf Astoria is looking for an
Assistant Director of Food & Beverage
to join the Park City team! With 150 rooms, 4,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets, this award‑winning Forbes 4‑Star boutique property offers elevated comfort food inspired by mountain regions from around the world.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the management of all Food & Beverage operations across the 3‑meal restaurant, seasonal pool restaurant, banquet operations, and 24‑hour in‑room dining, ensuring exceptional guest service and financial profitability.
Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
Develop and implement menus and food & beverage marketing strategies in partnership with the Director of Food & Beverage and the culinary team.
Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues, and make improvements accordingly.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
Recruit, interview, and train team members.
Qualifications
3–5 years of F&B management experience; a luxury hospitality background strongly preferred.
Exceptional leadership, strong team‑building skills, and a passion for developing and inspiring others.
Demonstrated commitment to hospitality, integrity, teamwork, ownership, and a sense of urgency.
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer‑focus abilities.
