Housekeeping Director – Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal

Responsibilities As the Director of Housekeeping, you will oversee all housekeeping operations to maintain flawless cleanliness and product quality throughout the hotel. Key duties include:
Ensure and maintain cleanliness, service, and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference areas in accordance with federal, state, local, and company health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
Lead, direct, and administer all housekeeping functions, including system use and management, budgeting and forecasting, inventory control, department organization, policy and procedure implementation, and participation in meetings and facilitation.
Monitor and develop team member performance, providing supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, and recognition.
Recruit, interview, and train housekeeping personnel.
Ensure proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies by monitoring consumption, providing training, and guaranteeing compliance with hazardous material labeling requirements.
Collaborate with Property Operations and other departments on rehabilitation and capital improvement projects.
