Outside Rental Sales Rep – Tukwila, WA
Job Overview NC Power Systems is seeking an Outside Rental Sales Rep in Tukwila, WA to join our team. The primary function of this role is to generate profitable rentals for NC Power Systems for the South Puget Sound area. Your main focus will be renting Caterpillar portable power generation equipment, the company’s line of mobile air compressors, and our line of temperature control equipment.
Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new customers within the territory to maximum potential.
Maintain and build positive customer relations.
Conduct weekly in‑person visits with customers in both their offices and job sites to provide product information and educate them on financial merchandising plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed customer records, including logging data, managing Dodge Pipeline information, tracking expenses, and following sales procedures and policies.
Coordinate with operations personnel regarding equipment availability and rental programs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
High energy and self‑motivated.
Take‑charge attitude with a drive to help customers succeed.
1–2 years of outside rental or sales experience preferred.
Proven prospecting, new business development, and customer retention skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Employee Benefits Base salary:
$75,000 plus commission on rentals and sales.
Total compensation range (first year):
$80,000–$100,000.
