Summary The Sr Manager, Shopper-Consumer Insights drives the strategic direction of shopper and consumer understanding across key business units. This role oversees a portfolio of insight initiatives, leads cross-functional insight integration, and partners with senior leaders to influence commercial strategies. The Sr Manager also plays a critical role in talent development and capability building within the insights team.
The position is responsible for managing client & tool contracts, including negotiations, and ensuring the involvement of relevant stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities
Build strong, long‑lasting relationships with existing clients, including strategic business analysis and positioning the organization as a trusted partner.
Conduct analysis, generate insights, and produce reports that assess the health of the economy and marketplace; integrate multiple data sources to deliver detailed ongoing reports, incremental deliverables and strategic insights.
Identify, scope, test, and launch new tools that align with evolving technology, support business insights and operational efficiency, and collaborate with tool providers to develop custom templates.
Manage client contracts and negotiations: engage proactively with senior client leaders, renegotiate contracts annually, and seek opportunities to expand existing contracts.
Collaborate with clients to identify category white space, uncover new brand opportunities, and support the RFP process.
Lead and develop the insights team: provide strategic leadership, mentorship, performance evaluations, training sessions, and monthly internal business insights meetings.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (graduate level degree preferred).
12+ years of experience in relevant field.
Some travel expected.
Direct and indirect report management experience.
Deep understanding of client business strategy, initiatives, and processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Adaptability, resilience, and ability to pivot strategies.
Strong leadership, mentoring and collaborative abilities.
Customer‑centric approach and service mindset.
