
Catheter Assembler in R&D
Join a dynamic R&D team focused on assembling catheters and their subassemblies using small hand tools and performing detailed work under a microscope. This role involves short-run builds, including braiding, reflow, bonding, annealing, and liner stretching. You will also handle lead wires and perform soldering, ensuring precise documentation, visual inspection, and final packaging. Responsibilities
Collaborate as part of a team to assemble components. Sort and organize materials or items on tables, racks, or bins. Assemble small parts manually under a microscope. Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes. Package assembled parts for distribution. Pick up, move, and sort small parts efficiently. Verify raw materials and lot numbers for accuracy. Build products following all processes, meeting manufacturing goals and metrics. Rotate tasks as necessary and work effectively with team members and cross-functionally. Maintain accurate records, including training documentation and required paperwork. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Adhere to safety and quality processes and procedures. Communicate operation status timely to management, including any safety or process issues. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Essential Skills
Experience in medical device and catheter assembly. Proficiency in clean room procedures and assembly. Ability to perform work under a microscope. Knowledge of braiding, guide wire, and catheter assembly techniques. Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Capability to read blueprints and follow assembly instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications
2-3 years of experience building catheters. Previous manufacturing experience with visual inspections and assembly equipment. Ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision. Effective multitasking skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Why Work Here?
