Insurance Follow Up Representative
Location: Statesville, NC - open to remote for other North Carolina residents Compensation: $18.50$29.50/hour Benefits: Addison Group benefits available during contract assignment. About the Opportunity
Addison Group is hiring Insurance Follow Up Representatives for a 68 month contract supporting a major AR cleanup project. This work focuses on resolving outstanding insurance claims after the organization transitioned revenue cycle processes back in?house from a third?party vendor. Key Responsibilities
Work assigned AR queues related to insurance follow up Resolve claims including at?risk, past?due, and pending reimbursement categories Clear out transferred accounts daily based on volume Perform follow up, rebilling, corrections, or write?offs as appropriate Document all actions accurately in system Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Manager and reimbursement team Qualifications
Required: 35 years of insurance follow up experience (hospital billing or professional billing) Understanding of payer guidelines, AR workflows, and denial follow up Preferred: Experience with Cerner Experience working AR cleanup or backlog projects Soft Skills: Proactive, independent worker Strong problem?solving and attention to detail Clear communication and ability to work with minimal supervision Perks
