Assemble, repair, and fabricate custom metal parts by operating mechanical equipment such as shears, automated punches, press brake, laser, and other fabrication equipment Utilize designs and plans to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances are achieved Work closely with team members and the department lead and/or Production Supervisor Open bundles of materials with cutters, sort stock, and measure/confirm size, type, and thickness Communicate and coordinate with team members to sustain a quality finished product that meets or exceeds drawing specifications Measure dimensions and compare to drawing specifications Maintain a safe and clean working environment and adhere to procedures, codes, and safety regulations Perform other duties as assigned to meet customer requirements, including mechanical assembly They're fast at finding jobs if you're willing to work.
