About the Role

** This is a 6mo contract assignment***

As a

Strategy Director , you will be the strategic lead for a portfolio dedicated to one of the world's most significant digital ecosystems. This isn't about traditional advertising; it's about

ecosystem strategy . You will define how users and developers experience the web, mobile platforms, and the future of internet standards.

We are looking for a hybrid strategist-part

Product Marketer , part

UX Designer , and part

Brand Storyteller . Your mission is to take complex, highly technical roadmaps (like privacy sandboxes, browser engines, and AI integrations) and translate them into intuitive, human-centric narratives and experiences. You will ensure that this tech giant's digital footprint feels like a cohesive, helpful, and innovative "ecosystem" rather than a collection of separate tools. Responsibilities:

Ecosystem Narrative:

Own the strategic "red thread" across a suite of digital products, ensuring a unified voice and user journey across browsers, operating systems, and web platforms. UX & Product Mapping:

Apply a UX lens to brand challenges. You will evaluate how users interact with digital interfaces and identify opportunities to improve the "on-device" experience. Product-to-Platform Strategy:

Help the client move beyond "features" to "benefits." You'll strategize how to communicate complex technical shifts (e.g., the move to a post-cookie web or generative AI integration) to both casual users and the developer community. Touchpoint Orchestration:

Lead the strategy for major digital-first moments-from immersive virtual keynotes and developer conferences to interactive web-based storytelling and "on-device" content. Insight Synthesis:

Distill global tech trends, competitive whitepapers, and user data into actionable creative briefs that push the boundaries of what's possible on the web. Collaborative Leadership:

Work hand-in-glove with Creative Leads, UX Researchers, and Creative Technologists to ensure strategic visions are not only inspiring but technically sound and user-friendly. About You

The essentials:

We are looking for a strategist who speaks "fluent tech" but thinks "human." We are open to candidates at the Associate Director, Strategy Director, or Group Director level, provided you have a passion for the open web. 7-12+ years of experience

in digital strategy, UX strategy, or product marketing within an agency or tech-first company. Deep Web Fluency:

You understand (and are fascinated by) how the internet works. You can speak to the importance of browsers, the evolution of mobile OS, and the impact of AI on the digital experience. UX Strategy Toolkit:

You are comfortable looking at user flows, wireframes, and digital architectures. You know how to design for utility, not just for "cool factor." The "Complex-to-Simple" Filter:

You have a proven ability to take high-level technical concepts and turn them into simple, emotional, and persuasive narratives. Agile Mentality:

You thrive in fast-paced environments where the technology is constantly evolving and timelines are often tight. Storytelling Excellence:

You are a master of the "pitch"-able to command a room (or a Zoom) and build deep trust with high-level technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with large-scale developer communities or B2B2C tech platforms. Knowledge of the "open web" philosophy and current trends in data privacy and AI. A background in

UX Research

or

Service Design .
