This role is critical in sourcing, closing, and servicing new business for our company! It is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced, competitive, yet collaborative environment. Our ideal candidate is outgoing, ready to push through the rejections in sales, and find the YES! Must be well organized and not afraid to ask questions of customers and carriers!

Position Functions

In‑office role fully encompassing Freight Brokerage Sales and Account Management

The primary purpose of this role will be sales, prospecting clients and building relationships.

Responsible for a high volume of customer interactions, including prospecting, cold calling, closing deals and daily account management

Negotiate rates with prospects and closed clients to win opportunities to grow our market share. Rate negotiations include both transactional and contract rates

Collaborate with internal teams to seamlessly service and provide top quality freight brokerage solutions

Stay updated on industry happenings, pricing and utilize those to leverage your sales success

Generates & qualifies leads daily to determine compatibility with our services

Maintain accurate tracking and history of all shipments

Preferred Requirements

Sales experience and desire

Strong independent drive and great work ethic

Outgoing personality with proven track record of developing relationships (i.e., not afraid of cold calling)

Capable of working independently and taking initiative, while also thriving in a team‑oriented environment.

Understands the importance of structured training and constructive feedback

Positive attitude and sees rejections as the next opportunity
