Residential Loan Processor
and play a key role in delivering a seamless and compliant lending experience for our customers.
As part of our Residential Lending/Mortgage team, you will process residential and home equity loan applications accurately and efficiently while ensuring full compliance with State and Federal regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with customers, attorneys, and internal lending staff to support timely loan decisions and successful closings.
What You’ll Do:
Process residential and home equity loan applications accurately and within required timeframes
Review applications and determine required documentation to support credit decisions
Collect, verify, and confirm accuracy of all borrower documentation
Prepare and issue required loan documentation including loan estimates, disclosures, credit reports, and appraisal requests
Research and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in loan files
Communicate professionally with customers, attorneys, and lending staff to gather information and resolve issues
Prepare equity loan closing documents and process funding for residential and equity credit line closings
Audit closed loan files for accuracy and alignment with loan approval documentation
Input and maintain HMDA data and update internal pipeline and tracking reports
Prepare loan files for quality control audits and secondary market review
Maintain and update residential loan rates in the Bank portal and loan origination system
Stay current on lending products, compliance regulations, and Bank policies
What You Bring:
Associate’s degree plus 1 year of mortgage processing experience, or high school diploma plus 3 years of mortgage processing experience
Experience with MortgageBot preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities accurately
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Customer-focused mindset with professional collaboration skills
Ability to navigate multiple banking systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and operational excellence
Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds
Willingness to work on-site in a professional office setting
