
CHC is a non‑profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. CHC has been a critical part of Ohio’s efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974.
We are currently looking for a full‑time, enthusiastic, and committed Assessment Specialist. The Assessment Specialist will:
Conduct initial intake interviews to determine the level of care needed and initiate the treatment process at CHC Addiction Services
Assign patient to a counselor
Schedule initial appointments
Be required to document all services in a timely manner, per agency policy.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology or related field
LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LCDC III or LICDC required
Independent licensure preferred
