The Director Cloud Operations Engineering and Security is responsible for strategic and operational leadership with respect to the requirements, design, implementation, and support of all AVB IT infrastructure services. Directs the planning, development, integration and maintenance of the infrastructure environment components that support the needs of the business systems and associated data. This position works closely with IT and business management to ensure that Infrastructure requirements for business systems are effectively met

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Interviews, hires, and trains new staff.

Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Lead the company in planning and executing infrastructure initiatives to deploy, enhance, and sustain technologies that will cost effectively support business strategies and operational requirements.

Provide resources adept at industry best practices in technology disciplines to participate in design, delivery, and sustainment of information technology solutions.

Works with business partners to understand the IT requirements generated by business strategies and operational requirements; communicate opportunities and present alternatives to executive leadership, demonstrating areas where new technologies can drive business results.

Participate in engagements with business and IT leaders to understand and document business strategies, use key performance indicators and how they apply to IT asset investments primarily data leading to infrastructure.

Provide business analysis, measurement and reporting using internal data as well as independent external industry sources through research and industry best practices to for technology investments.

Lead the infrastructure aspect of the strategic initiatives by engaging key members.

Responsible for providing strategic vision for network architecture.

Consult with business partners to create functional business specifications and resulting technical requirements as well as identify, evaluate, and recommend potential solutions and vendors across all infrastructure disciplines (platform, networking, voice/data services).

Ensure infrastructure services are delivered. Measure and report services to determine performance and business impacts.

Ensure platform and systems are secure and in regulatory compliance.

Ensure IT infrastructure commitments are met through the development, implementation, and operation of solution delivery.

Direct a team to complete infrastructure projects and services from initiation through delivery ensuring completion of assigned objectives on schedule and within budget constraints.

Direct company Telecom services.

Lead infrastructure team to design, build and support technology in a highly available environment.

Define and manage the IT Infrastructure & Operations team including staffing structure, operations, and network functions to achieve business objectives.

Prepare, communicate, and educate client groups and team on changes in policies and practices with the organization.

Key decision maker on escalated infrastructure issues.

Research, evaluate and recommend emerging infrastructure tools and processes to improve capability and support.

Deliver IT infrastructure within the established service level agreements and take corrective action when SLAs are not being met.

Partner with vendors and business teams in technology infrastructure contract negotiations.

Challenge and inspire partners to achieve business results.

Ensure partners adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.

Develop and manage infrastructure budget.

Identify and communicate key responsibilities and practices to ensure the team promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership and teamwork to achieve business results.

Provide coaching, direction and leadership support to team members in order to achieve partner, business and customer goals.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.

Analytical skills, a thorough understanding of product development.

Education and Experience:

BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

10 years of experience working with a broad range of technologies, platforms, systems, and vendors

5 years of experience at senior management level

Experience delivering and managing contact center technology and services

Ability to deliver high availability and reliability solutions

Service level agreement and vendor contract negotiation and management

Business and disaster recovery experience

IT budgeting and cost management

Strong project management skills, with experience in managing resources to meet goals on simultaneous/multiple projects

Strong technical management and leadership skills and experience to attract, retain, and motivate high talent IT professionals

Dedication to high levels of client service and responsiveness

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
